Survivor’s Panel: The Experiences of Street Based Survivors.

Abstract

A panel of street based prostitution survivors, facilitated by survivor LeeAnn Campbell, will discuss their experiences while in prostitution including the violence and trauma experiences, health risks, emotional and mental health effects, their childhoods, stigma, how they got involved, experiences with traffickers, social service providers and police officers, and what social service, health care, and criminal justice representatives could do to better assist women and youth wanting to leave prostitution.
